Antonio Crivellaro is a former Professor of International Law and International Trade Law. He is a former Partner and currently Emeritus Partner at Bonelli Erede, Milan office, where he founded the International Arbitration Group. He has extensive experience (more than 250 cases in a period of 40 years) in international—commercial and investment—arbitration as either counsel, or arbitrator, or chairman in several arbitral institutions (ICC; ICSID; LCIA; SCA; Cairo Centre; Bangkok Centre; Milan Chamber, Dubai-DIAC Arbitration Centre) and ad hoc proceedings. Recommended as "Leading" arbitrator in international cases relating to investment, construction, energy, industrial supply by Chambers and other Dispute Resolution sources worldwide.
His area of expertise includes disputes arising from contracts for gas and oil projects, works and concessions, industrial plants, supplies and sales, financing and banking operations, telecommunications and post-closing M&A disputes. He further specializes in international investment law and investor-to-State arbitrations. Appointed by Italy as Member of the ICSID List of Arbitrators. Member and Italian correspondent of the Institut de l’Arbitrage International (IAI) Paris.
He is a Council Member of the ICC Institute of World Business Law and author of a number of publications in international contracts and arbitration law. He is Editor in Chief of Diritto del Commercio Internazionale—The Law of International Trade.
Melida N. Hodgson focuses her practice on investor-state and commercial arbitration, counseling governments and state-owned entities with respect to international investment protection obligations, business disputes, as well as advising on World Trade Organization dispute resolution and policy issues. She has extensive experience in leading infrastructure, energy, and contract disputes before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) tribunals, International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and WTO panels. She is also an arbitrator.
Ms Hodgson is a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, the ICC Institute of World Business Law Council, the Executive Council of the American Society of International Law, and the Council of the American Arbitration Association.
Ms Hodgson has been recognized by Latinvex as one of the top 50 female practitioners and top 100 lawyers whose practice focuses on Latin America, and she also has been ranked by Chambers Global, USA, and Latin America editions, and noted in Legal 500 Latin America and Who’s Who Arbitration.
She is fluent in Spanish and conducts proceedings in English and Spanish. Ms Hodgson is a founding member of the Washington Women in International Arbitration.
